MIL  8013  Single  Acting  Electro-pneumatic  positioner  provide precise  and  reliable  valve  positioning  and superior  dynamic response.  The  basic  model  MIL  8013  Positioners  are  used  with reciprocating control valves. Its linkage is designed for actuators with a straight axial motion. Feedback linkage is connected directly to the actuator  stem. The model MIL 8013 has a stroke and zero adjustment  assembly  and  may  be  split  ranged  with  various controller signals.

MIL 400L is an inductive type position transmitter with LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) and is considered as an optimum transducer element, which can be mounted on valve actuators for transmitting angular as well as linear movements with proper linkages.
ConstructionThe instrument utilises an LVDT, a mutual inductance element as the sensing element. The coil system consists of a primary coil and two separate secondary coils, which are spaced symmetrically with respect to the primary. Coupling between primary and secondary coil is varied by a movable and non-contacting magnetic iron core, called armature.The secondary is connected externally in a series but opposing circuit, Motion of the magnetic core varies the mutual inductance of each secondary to the primary, which determines the voltage induced in each secondary from primary.

MIL 776 Air Lock Relay is highly effective in holding the air in lock condition, when there is supply failure in the instrument pneumatic line, thereby keeping the control valve in stay-put condition. The design is very compact and offers flexibility for panel mounting as well as mounting on control valves.

The nylon reinforced diaphragm and the specially selected internal components are designed for years of trouble free performance and easy servicing.MIL 776 has a modified version to achieve FLDC (Fail Lock Drift Close) / FLDO (Fail Lock Drift Open). For this option, if there is a failure in the instrument pneumatic line, valve will close to normal air failure position slowly.
